Mustafa currently practices in the areas of corporate commercial litigation, civil litigation and business law. Mustafa’s litigation practice encompasses construction and property disputes, corporate disputes (including shareholders’ remedies), contractual disputes and negligence. Mustafa also has extensive experience dealing with family disputes. Mustafa has appeared on behalf of clients in matters before the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia and has experience in resolving matters through alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Prior to joining Murphy & Company, Mustafa practiced family law at a prominent downtown Vancouver law firm.
Mustafa began his career in England and practiced as a solicitor for a number of years representing clients in general litigation matters, including conducting trials and interlocutory hearings before District Judges, Circuit Judges and High Court Judges. Mustafa was Partner and Head of Department at his previous firm before moving to Canada.
Outside of the practice of law, Mustafa enjoys outdoor adventure, travel and anything food-related.
